This is just the start of a gallery that I hope to expand with future trips to Scotland. It features images from the Isle of Skye and the Glencoe area.
The images from the Glencoe area were taken in February 2009. The weather was not kind - it rained every day. But even so, when the clouds parted, you could still catch a glimpse of the magnificent scenery. Towering peaks, constantly changing sea lochs and a pallette of colours that spring to life when illuminated by an elusive beam of sunlight.
The Isle of Skye, off the north west coast of Scotland, is a very beautiful place. When the weather is kind it is a photographer's dream - breath-taking scenery with mountains, coastline, sunsets and wildlife.
