I am ashamed to say that I had not visited East Anglia until my younger daughter went to university there. Even then, most of the trips were just taking her there or picking her up. Initially I just took some photographs around Cambridge, which has some fabulous architecture and quirky features. On a couple of occasions I have taken the time to start exploring the area, calling in at Ely and Norwich, and then up to the coast at Cromer. It has whetted my appetite for the area.
